Registered Massage Therapist

Biography
I am a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist driven by a “better than yesterday” mindset. My clinical training at Mohawk College provided me with a rich foundation, allowing me to treat a diverse range of conditions across various populations.
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m likely moving. My background as an amateur boxer and my love for sports and weightlifting give me a unique, first-hand understanding of how the body performs and how it recovers. I combine this athletic perspective with a love for problem-solving to provide thoughtful, effective care for every patient.

1. Why should patients choose you?
I view massage therapy as a partnership. Every individual comes in with a different story and a different set of goals; returning to a sport, managing a chronic condition, or simply finding relief from daily stress. My experience across athletic centers, hospices, and chronic pain clinics has taught me that the best results come from a ‘team’ approach. I am deeply passionate about your progress, and I am committed to evolving my techniques to ensure you reach your peak functional health.

2. What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?

The top 3 treatments I like to integrate into my treatment is myofascial release, trigger point release and joint mobilization. I integrate these modalities to create a personalized treatment plan focused on reducing pain and helping you return back to your daily activities.

3. What are you proud of in your practice?
I am most proud of being a consistent part of my patients’ healing journeys. Having had early exposure to complex cases in adult rehab and chronic pain settings, I’ve learned that not everything can be fixed, consistent maintenance is often the key to long-term quality of life. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a patient experience the realization that they are moving better and feeling stronger than they were initially.

4. Which cases do you enjoy treating?
I enjoy the variety of general wellness to high-performance. I love the challenge of an acute injury or a complex chronic case where we have to figure out exactly what works for your specific body. I also value the importance of relaxation treatments; helping someone reset their nervous system is just as vital as fixing a shoulder injury. I love seeing the progression of my patients through every stage of their recovery.
