I am a Physiotherapist committed to helping individuals restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through evidence-based, patient-centered care. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2019 and completing a six-month internship in 2020, I moved to Canada in 2021 and have continued to advance my clinical skills.
I have specialized training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. My personal connection to pelvic health through my own experiences has strengthened my empathy and dedication to supporting patients through their recovery.
My treatment approach is individualized, focusing on identifying the root cause of symptoms, promoting education, and empowering patients through movement. I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships and create a supportive environment where patients feel heard and understood.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Malayalam, I enjoy connecting with diverse communities. Outside of work, I value spending time with family and friends, which helps me maintain balance and perspective.
1. Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I believe in taking time to understand and listen to a person’s needs and goals to tailor an individualized program which is realistic to them. I strongly believe that in order to have success with the rehabilitation it is inevitable to look beyond the physical symptoms and find out the root causes and contributing factors, where patient education and encouraging an active role in their treatment comes into play.
2. What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?
I specialize in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions, including back and hip pain, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, prolapse, pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum recovery, and post-surgical rehabilitation. By combining orthopedic and pelvic health expertise, I take a comprehensive approach to help patients move better, reduce pain, and achieve their functional goals. My sessions would include various manual therapies, myofascial release and an exercise based program that fits you.
3. What are you proud of in your practice?
I am most proud of the relationships I build with my patients while they put their trust in me during our sessions. It if of utmost importance to me to make my patients feel safe, supported and heard.
I am also proud of seeing every patient as an individual and tailoring a rehabilitation with respect to their goals and lifestyle. It gives me immense joy to see patients regain confidence and return to activities, and improving their quality of life. Continuing to grow my skills in both pelvic health and orthopedics is another aspect I take pride in, as it allows me to provide more comprehensive and effective care.
4. Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and pelvic health cases, especially the ones that can make a meaningful impact on a person’s everyday life and boost up their confidence.
In orthopedics, I particularly enjoy working with individuals post injuries or surgery, as well as those dealing with persistent posture control issues, shoulder, back, hip, or knee pain. These cases are rewarding because they often involve helping patients move from pain and limitation back to strength, function, and independence through a clear, progressive plan.
In pelvic health, I find it meaningful to support individuals dealing with conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, issues with constipation, prenatal and postpartum recovery. These concerns can significantly affect quality of life, and it is very rewarding to help patients feel more comfortable, confident, and in control of their bodies again.
In a nutshell , I enjoy cases where education, movement, and consistent rehabilitation can lead to real, lasting improvements in how someone feels and functions in their everyday life.
