Yonge & Wellington | Mamta Solanki, Resident PT
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
Mamta is passionate about empowering patients to reach their goals by taking an individualized, holistic approach during assessments and treatment. She values providing patient-centered care and believes that having patients become active collaborators in their physiotherapy journey can help them maximize their potential and results. Mamta is looking forward to incorporating a combination of education, manual therapy, soft tissue work and exercise prescription to help you get back to doing what you love.
What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?
I specialize in a variety of treatments, however my top are myofascial release, trigger point release, exercise therapy and joint mobilization. I’ve been practicing these techniques for 3 years and have developed a special expertise in each.
What are you proud of in your practice?
She is happiest in her practice when she is problem solving with people to keep them participating in the activities of their lives. She enjoys helping people of all ages and problems to work toward their future goals. Mamta emphasizes an evidence-based and active approach to treatment. She uses a combination of manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education to reduce pain, optimize function and performance, and prevent re-injury.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
She has extensive experience in treating spine patients especially neck and back. Moreover, she has treated post-op knee and shoulder patients as well. Using a holistic approach to her practice, Mamta believes that in addition to treating areas of pain it is important to look deeper to try and identify core issues requiring attention.
