I am graduate from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. I also obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree with Honours in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. I have a vast amount of experience working as a kinesiologist and personal trainer in a variety of rehabilitation and fitness settings. While working with other knowledgeable health professionals, I have treated a variety of conditions through exercise therapy including but not limited to acute or chronic pain, sports-related injuries, neurological, pre and post-operative, postural imbalances, pre-natal, and post-natal. I have also recently completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University and is able to effectively incorporate acupuncture into my treatments.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I am constantly upgrading and advancing my knowledge through ongoing learning in order to provide my clients with a holistic treatment. With my extensive knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, therapeutic exercise and manual therapy, I offer an integrative approach to my treatments. By using various modalities including cupping, medical acupuncture, K-taping, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, I am able to achieve targeted results in various conditions. I prioritize client education, injury prevention and ensure optimal and effective results through individualized assessments, treatments, and home care exercises. I believe in finding the source of pain and treating it accordingly.

What are you proud of in your practice?
The ability to educate, treat, and rehabilitate clients in my practice and seeing the improvements from week to week is gratifying. It keeps me motivated to learn and help clients achieve their optimal health goals.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy treating a variety of conditions. I primarily enjoy treating headaches, musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries, sports-related injury, neurological symptoms, chronic and acute pain.
