Yonge & St Clair | Aimee Alcober, RMT
I graduated in ICT Kikkawa College in Massage Therapy in 2023 and in good standing with College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). I also have:
• an Indian Head Massage Therapy Certification from Royal Canadian College
• a Degree in Bachelor of Animal Science
• studied for Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Member of Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario
Prior to becoming an RMT, I worked as a Personal Support Worker for over 10 years in longterm care, retirement homes, palliative care, community and home-based setting. During this journey, I realized the transformative healing power of Massage Therapy. I have always been focused on providing strong health support to my clients.
I am an advocate of having a healthy and active lifestyle. This includes long walks, hiking in nature, grounding, meditation and organic cooking.
1. Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
My ability to identify and isolate specific conditions of pain and be able to provide appropriate massage treatment. My clients are deeply relaxed and rejuvenated after their treatment, sometimes to the level of falling asleep.
2. What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?
Deep soothing relaxation treatment, deep tissue massage and Indian Head Massage.
3. What are you proud of in your practice?
I am most proud when a returning client tells me that their pain and discomfort was resolved and they desire another session for tune-up and maintenance.
4. Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I strive to provide a safe and focused level of care to high-stress professionals, resolving their upper back muscle tension, neck pain, shoulder stiffness and/or tension headaches. My health experience is paramount to ensuring each and every client’s pain issues are addressed.
