Madeline Ha

Registered Massage Therapist

Hi, I’m Madeline! I came to massage therapy after getting my first massage and realizing how much better I felt, not only physically, but mentally as well, and I just wanted to help others feel the same way. That first experience helped shape my philosophy for treatment, by prioritizing nervous system regulation alongside therapeutic techniques to create positive change for people, both in body and mind.

I’m a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and have worked with a wide range of populations such as seniors, post-surgical patients, pregnant people, and those with neurological conditions such as stroke, MS, and Parkinson’s.

In my free time, I practice yoga and meditation, to balance out the time spent watching tv and movies. I love fantasy books and am slowly reading my through an ever-growing TBR list.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I value patient-centered care, approaching treatment with compassion and warmth. I believe that a positive experience starts with relaxation and combines clinical understanding with an intuitive touch, tailoring treatment by using a range of techniques to address your concerns and reach your goals for treatment.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I value the time and trust patients place in me and am passionate about helping create ease and connection in the body. I’m grateful for everyone who has included me in their wellness journey, from addressing specific concerns to dedicating time for their self-care, and I’m proud of seeing patients leave the room in a better state than they arrived.

What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?

I incorporate a variety of techniques in treatment, such as Swedish, Thai, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, and neuromuscular techniques.

I specialize in:

Relaxation – Shaping treatments for nervous system regulation, increased circulation, better sleep and reduced tension, in your muscles as well as your mind.

Buccal / Face massage – Whether you’re treating tmj dysfunction or looking for aesthetic relaxation, this treatment relieves tension caused by clenching and grinding, as well as reducing puffiness using lymphatic drainage.

Myofascial release – Performed without oil, this treatment targets adhesions in fascia that lead to restrictions in range of motion, soreness, and postural imbalances. I utilize trigger point techniques alongside myofascial release techniques to reduce pain and improve function.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

While I approach every case that patients arrive with using the same level of care, I particularly like treating TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and chronic pain. People tend to carry stress in their upper body, and many do not realize the extent of the tension they are holding in their face, head, neck, and shoulders until I work into the area. I enjoy learning about the ways postural habits or holding patterns influence the body, and treating the physical manifestations while supporting patients in addressing the underlying causes to decrease pain and reduce stress.
