Yonge & Wellington | Haoming (Howard) Wang, RAc, RMT
I am a Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Acupuncturist, and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. With over 10 years of experience in manual therapy, I take a patient-centered approach, working closely with each patient to understand their concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan.
My practice integrates massage therapy, acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Depending on each patient’s needs, treatments may include deep tissue Swedish massage, Tui Na, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion, or herbal therapy. My goal is to reduce discomfort, restore movement, and support each patient’s long-term health and well-being.
1. Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
With more than 10 years of experience in manual therapy, I have treated a wide range of conditions and developed an integrative approach that combines massage therapy, acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all treatment, I tailor each session to the patient’s specific needs and goals. I also value clear communication and collaboration, so patients feel informed and involved throughout their care.
2. What are the top three treatments that you specialize in?
My top three specialties are myofascial release, trigger point release, and joint mobilization. I have used these techniques for many years and have developed particular expertise in applying them to muscle tension, restricted movement, and injury-related concerns. When appropriate, I also integrate deep tissue Swedish massage, Chinese Tui Na, and acupuncture to enhance treatment outcomes.
3. What are you proud of in your practice?
I am most proud of the trust I build with my patients and the personalized care I provide. It is especially rewarding to see patients experience less pain, improved mobility, and greater confidence in their daily activities. I am also proud to offer an integrative approach that draws on both manual therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine, allowing me to adapt treatments to each individual rather than relying on a single technique.
4. Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy treating a wide variety of cases because every patient has different needs and goals. My professional experience includes scar tissue treatment, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage techniques, joint-focused treatment, and trigger point therapy. Whether a patient seeks relaxation, relief from headaches, support for muscle tension, or recovery from a specific injury, I am passionate about creating a treatment plan tailored to them. Making a positive difference in how each patient feels and moves is what I find most rewarding.
