Yonge & Wellington | Reshmy Sutar, PT

Physiotherapist
Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Reshmy did her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2018 and has since pursued specialized training in pelvic physiotherapy, musculosketal and vestibular management. She has a strong passion for pelvic health, helping patients with concerns such as pelvic pain, incontinence, and postnatal recovery through compassionate, evidence-based care.

She has worked in an OHIP-funded clinic, where she treated a wide range of conditions, including numerous cases of dizziness and vertigo — further developing her expertise in vestibular rehabilitation. Reshmy also works extensively with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical procedures, creating personalized treatment plans to restore function, mobility, and confidence.

1. Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I listen carefully to your concerns and goals to create a personalized treatment plan that targets the root cause of your pain or dysfunction. With specialized skills in pelvic physiotherapy, dry needling, and dizziness/ concussion management, I combine evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. My focus is on helping you regain function and confidence, while making your recovery journey supportive and empowering.

2. What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?

My areas of focus include pelvic physiotherapy, musculoskeletal and vestibular rehab. I enjoy combining hands-on techniques such as myofascial release, Mulligan techniques, and joint mobilizations with targeted exercise programs to restore movement and function. Whether helping someone manage pelvic pain, recover from vertigo, or relieve muscle tension, I strive to provide care that is both evidence-based and tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

3. What are you proud of in your practice?

I’m truly grateful to be part of my patients’ healing journeys—whether it’s helping them manage pain, recover after surgery, navigate pelvic health challenges, or find relief from dizziness. I do my best to create a warm, welcoming space where they feel safe, heard, and supported, especially when opening up about sensitive concerns like pelvic pain or incontinence. It’s incredibly fulfilling to watch someone regain their confidence, return to the activities they love, and feel at home in their body again.

4. Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I especially enjoy treating pelvic health conditions, dizziness and balance disorders, and recovery from joint, muscle, or bone injuries. Pelvic physiotherapy is deeply rewarding, as it helps patients with often-overlooked issues like pelvic pain, incontinence, and postpartum recovery. I also find it fulfilling to help those with dizziness regain balance, independence, and safety. No matter the condition, I’m passionate about providing personalized care that empowers patients to reach their goals and improve their quality of life.
