Yonge & Wellington | Herve Mezence, RMT
I am a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of Kikkawa College (June 2022), fluent in both English and French. My treatments blend functional and active techniques with a relaxing approach, so clients can feel both relief and rejuvenation. My style combines moderate to deep pressure with movement-based techniques, always tailored to help clients feel better in their daily life.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, playing piano, attending jazz concerts, and working out.
1. Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
Clients choose me because I provide a balanced approach that combines functional and active techniques with restorative, relaxing massage. Each session is designed to help clients move more freely, recover effectively, and also leave feeling refreshed and at ease.
2. What are the top three treatments that you specialize in?
– Deep tissue massage for releasing chronic tension and supporting recovery
– Relaxation massage to promote stress relief and overall well-being
– Functional and active techniques to improve mobility, movement, and performance
3. What are you proud of in your practice?
I’m proud of making a noticeable difference for my clients, helping them feel the change from before to after a session, whether that’s moving with more ease, recovering faster, or simply feeling more relaxed and energized. I’m also proud of creating a space where people feel comfortable, respected, and supported in taking an active role in their health.
4. Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy working with clients seeking relaxation and better sleep, helping them release tension in the neck, shoulders, and upper back to feel more at ease.
I also enjoy working with clients focused on recovery and functional improvement, particularly those with shoulder or upper body issues, which are prone to injury and often hold chronic tension.
In both cases, the upper body, especially the shoulders, is a key focus. While I have a preference for these areas, I am proficient in treating the entire body. By blending relaxation techniques with functional and active work, I help clients leave feeling both relaxed and more capable in their daily activities.
