Yonge & Bloor | Dr. Rebecca Kang, DC
Dr. Rebecca Kang graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has worked closely with family physicians, rheumatologists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, Clinical Science and Sports Sciences Fellows, and various other health care professionals to provide the best care for her patients. She has been certified in clinical acupuncture and mental health first aid. She provides evidence-based care and utilizes various techniques including adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, and acupuncture.
Dr. Kang has worked in community centred clinics as well as at St. Michael’s Hospital; she has experience in treating a variety of conditions and patients ranging from musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, pregnancy related musculoskeletal complaints, and geriatric patients. She strives to provide patient centred care through her skills in manual therapy, rehabilitation, modalities, and patient education. As an advocate of health Dr. Kang is dedicated to help her patients live the most functional life as possible.
Dr. Kang’s associations include: The College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the Ontario Chiropractic Association, and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. She is fluent in English and Korean.

I take pride in making sure every appointment is catered to my patient and I ensure that their experience is as comfortable as possible. I also love working collaboratively with my patients and making sure that their ideas and goals are heard and incorporated into their rehabilitation. I also love working collaboratively and creatively with my team to ensure that we can provide the best care possible in your journey.
What are the top 3 treatment that you focus on?
I utilize pressured muscle and myofascial release as well as very specific and comfortable adjustments. I also like to utilize acupuncture as an adjunct to care in order to help in the recovery process. I also use various modalities as well as rehabilitation exercises and education to further the recovery and preventative process.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I am proud that I can help my patients move and feel better, I love the fact that I can work with my patients to ensure that they get to moving in the way that they want.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
Although I love treating all types of cases my favourite types of cases are complex and complicated. I love a good challenge and I love the feeling of seeing my patient finally find relief and are able to live their life to the fullest again.
